Connect the power of your vehicle's engine to the driveline with the Chevrolet Performance High Performance Single Disc Clutch Kit. The clutch disc is the connecting link between the engine and transmission, providing a large surface area of friction material on both sides. The surface of the clutch disc contacts the flywheel surface of the engine and the pressure plate surface of the transmission. Rotation of the flywheel is transferred to the pressure plate through the clutch plate, allowing your vehicle to move. When the clutch pedal is engaged, the clutch plate is separated from the flywheel, allowing gears to be changed. When the clutch pedal is released, they make contact and the transfer of power begins again. This single disc clutch kit features a sintered iron sprung disc and a diaphragm plate, and includes an alignment tool and additional hardware. It is a high-performance single-disc clutch that fits production Big-Block flywheels and is rated for 650 lb.-ft. of torque.
