Fast-Burn Aluminum Cylinder Head Assembly - 19300955
Get the performance you need with the Chevrolet Performance Cylinder Head Assembly. Cylinder heads sit on top of the cylinder block to form the combustion chamber, and have ports for the fuel/air mixture and exhaust gases to travel through. The CNC-machined, Fast-Burn cylinder head assembly is made of aluminum and features a combustion chamber designed for use with flat-top pistons, angled spark plugs, raised, machined rocker cover rails, high-rpm LS-style beehive-type valve springs, Chevrolet Bowtie logo, and dual bolt patterns for perimeter-bolt and center-bolt valve covers, and Vortec and early-model intake manifolds. The head is assembled with 2.000-inch/1.550-inch valves, intake valves, valve spring retainers, exhaust valves, valve stem keys, valve springs, valve rocker arm studs, valve spring seats, valve guides, valve stem seals, and a rocker arm stud sealer. It requires no additional porting for optimal performance, and can be used on any small-block engine with at least 4.000-inch bores and the standard-flow coolant system-it is not for use on Gen II 1992-96 LT1/LT4 engines with a reverse-flow cooling system. There is no heat riser, an exhaust gasket (which may require minor trimming) is required, and head gaskets with stainless steel fire rings should be used.
